Ambassador of the Month: Jeff Spiker
Meet Jeff Spiker, our Green Events Ambassador of the Month! Spiker recently raced the Fall Equinox Half Marathon, which qualified him for the prestigious New York City Marathon. Looking ahead to next year, Jeff has an impressive lineup of races on his agenda, including the Houston Half Marathon, the Mesa Marathon, Mt. Diablo Half Marathon, the Chicago Marathon, and, of course, the New York City Marathon. He’s even thrown his name into the lottery for the Berlin Marathon, awaiting that exciting acceptance in early December. Of course, he will also be running many, if not all, of the Green Events races as well.
Jeff’s passion for Green Events was sparked during his participation in training runs for the Fall Equinox Race in Fort Collins. It wasn’t long before Lisa, the driving force behind Green Events, recognized Jeff’s dedication and enthusiasm, inviting him to become a Green Events Ambassador. For Spiker, it was a no-brainer; he simply loves being a part of Green Events. Whether he’s diligently assembling race packets, providing course support as a cheerful marshal, or assisting with the pre- and post-race logistics, he finds joy in the world of Green Events. Spiker’s energy and dedication make him an invaluable member of the ambassador team and his love for the running community shines through in everything he does.
