Runner of the Month:  Craig Depperschmidt

Many people in the Fort Collins Running or endurance sports community may know Craig Depperschmidt as a healer, an athlete, or a great dad. Craig has made a great impact on the running community in northern Colorado as a physical therapist at ProActive, where he specializes in helping runners, triathletes, or anyone who wants to feel better. He does this through his numerous professional certifications, including the Postural Restoration Certification, which is difficult to find elsewhere in Colorado, let alone the U.S.

When Craig isn’t helping people get back to reaching their goals running, swimming, or biking, he can be seen at many local triathlons and Green Events races with the Rocky Mountain Multisport Race Team. While his most recent accomplishment was finishing 11th at the Lake to Lake Olympic Triathlon, a lesser-known, but just as impressive accomplishment was finishing the 2023 Father’s Day 5k in a time of 19:21… while pushing a stroller! This serves as his new stroller PR. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for him this summer, stroller or sans stroller. If you see Craig make sure to congratulate him on his successes and outgoing attitude that won him “Runner of the Month!”
