Runner of the Month: Couple Edition
Ryan Mockley & Jimmy Caruthers
If you’ve been to any of Green Events races in the past few months, you know who this couple is. Their outfits are strategically planned out to wow the crowd, everytime. These two don’t need a post race party, they bring the party. Not only do they dress to impress, they are friendly and loving. These two love birds stole the show at CMIYC and Polar Bear Plunge. Ryan and Jimmy, we appreciate you both! We are looking forward to your creative, positive energy at our next event!
Volunteer of the Month: Poudre High School Cross Country Team
If you didn’t see this awesome volunteer group dancing in the freezing cold, did you really run the whole race?
The Poudre high school cross country team not only spent their Saturday morning in the cold to support Green Events and all the great participants, they added some course entertainment along the route. Shout out to Poudre High School for showing the love along the course!
Ambassador of the Month: Alex Prigge
Alex Prigge, aka Green Events cookie monster. We love Alex for many reasons, but when she brings her delicious freshly baked cookies to all the pre-race activities, we cannot resist her! You’ll have to volunteer to really understand the depth of our love, these cookies are gold!
Alex has been running Green Events races for a little over 4 years now, she loves running for the ability to stay active and explore new places by foot. Not only that, she runs to train incorporating speed and distance, this year she is going for the gold, her eyes are set on qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
Alex is also heavily involved in the fitness community. You may see her around town at various runnings events or every Wednesday at 5:45 am, where she co-eads the Wednesday Project FTC. Come out and get a free workout in!
