MEET THE GREEN TEAM

Lisa Sinclair

Lisa is the owner and race director of Green Events. Starting in 2011 as a weekend hobby it quickly became a small business and full time job. With a background in exercise physiology and business, “running” races seems to be the perfect combo for her skills and education.
 
 

Bear Dog 

Bear is the Canine Ambassador for Green Events, often being featured in Green Events social media campaigns. He keeps morale up in the office and takes his job of office security very seriously.
 
Fun Fact: Bear gave himself two promotions last year and is campaigning for a dog bone vending machine at the office.
 
Bear is off social media for the foreseeable future but he pretty much owns Lisa’s IG so you can follow his adventures there.

Meggie Fowler
Graphic Designer & Photographer

Meggie is the creative brain of Green Events, designing everything from race swag, event logos, website, and social media posts, to event-day photography.
 
Meggie will be the one behind the camera for your race photos! So make sure to smile and wave when you see her out on the course.

Alisha Powell
Volunteer Coordinator

With 20 years in the event industry, Alisha brings a wealth of experience, especially from road cycling tours and large-scale events that rely on dedicated volunteers. She knows firsthand that volunteers are the heart of every event, and she’s here to make sure you feel informed, appreciated, and supported every step of the way.

Beyond events, Alisha is passionate about giving back to the community, has worked with numerous nonprofits, and is currently back at CSU as a part-time student. When she’s not rallying volunteers, you’ll likely find her snowboarding, hiking, or biking—embracing all the outdoor adventures Colorado has to offer!

Shelby Sinclair
Marketing Coordinator

Shelby has been part of the Green Events team for three years and recently stepped into the role of Marketing Coordinator. She holds a degree in Agricultural Communications and Marketing and enjoys helping bring events to life through creative content and community engagement.

Shelby spends her free time outdoors with her corgi, Winnie, capturing everyday moments through her camera lens. A proud University of Wyoming graduate, she also manages a small herd of cattle, balancing her love for the outdoors with life on the ranch.
